Thank you for your interest in our services.

Have you ever been prompted to provide a One Time Password (OTP) when attempting to complete an online payment via Interswitch’s WebPAY?
Have you ever attempted paying for a transaction and then got prompted to Enter your email address to register for the Safetoken service?

Are you interested in enhancing the security of your online payments?

By registering for the SafeToken service, the challenges identified above can be overcome.

The Safetoken service was introduced in order to enhance your security while making payments online. This service will further protect you from any form of fraud, phishing or identity theft.

What is Safetoken you might ask?

It is a system which generates  a One-Time-Password (OTP) for you to complete online payments. The OTP is required only when the transactions exceeds the set limit by your bank. The OTP is valid for a short period of time (about 9 minutes), so be sure to use it immediately you get the SMS on your phone.>

So how do you get it?

Signing up for this service is pretty easy; all you need to do is register on the nearest Quickteller – enabled ATM by following the quick steps below

  1. Input your ATM card and select the ‘Quickteller’ option from the ATM menu screen
  2. Select ‘Pay Bills’ from the Quickteller menu list on the ATM screen
  3. Select ‘Others’ for the bill payment menu option list
  4. Enter ‘322222”as the Biller Code
  5. Enter your Phone Number as the Customer Reference Number and select ‘Proceed
  6. You will get a display “Do you want to make this payment?” Amount Due:N1
  7. DO NOT edit the amount to be paid
  8. Click on “Pay amount due
  9. You will then get a confirmation page indicating the registration was successful.


After you have completed the registration and you are attempting a payment on WebPAY, you will be required to send an SMS to a shortcode provided on the payment page in order to receive an OTP with which you can then complete your online payment. 

The regular bill payment convenience fee of N100 will be deducted for registering for this service via the ATM.

Registration can also be done online via but your bank will need to validate your web registration before it becomes active. So you can also contact your bank directly to validate you, after registering on the quickteller website.

Please note that you may need to request for your card to be activated for online payments by your bank before you are able to utilize this service.

    The associated email address and phone number with my website safetoken page are wrong.

    Although the current details are mine, I prefer to use the email address associated with quickteller and the phone number is my desk phone which can not receive OTP digits.

    Where can I change my details? I am willing to visit your company premises in order for you to validate this statement.

    not all transaction made went through dont no why….example i tried using fund wallet and its showing me transaction expired

      Richman hi, thank you for choosing Quickteller! There might be limitations on your card set by the bank. To increase the value of transactions you can carry out using your card, pls register for Safetoken OTP either at your bank or at the ATM. Pls read for more info.     I have registred my card at the ATM machine but when coducting transactions on my quickteller application, it always request for my Card number instead of just CCV and pin. Please i need guidance on how to use it without always requesting for the card number. thank you the support.

      Hi Aqibu, thank you for choosing Quickteller. Kindly confirm that your ATM card is a Verve Card as the “Remember Card” feature only works for Verve Cards at this time. Should your card be a Verve Card and you have successfully registered your card at the ATM for Safetoken and it still doesn’t work, kindly send an email to
