Frankly speaking I’m confused about the whole information, but one thing I know’s that, I’ve my own devices from the two banks that, I am banking with. Viz UBA Plc & First bank plc. And owing to that, I’d been using these devices to transanct with you. So my qestion’s what you’re introducing, isn’t in line with the CBN/the depositors banks regulations? Thanks.

Peter hi, I assume that you are referring to the use of the banks’ tokens on their respective internet banking platforms? If this is the case, the hardware tokens will work. However, the tokens do not work on Quickteller.com or other WebPAY enabled platforms, only GTBank’s does. Safetoken/OTP was put in place by CBN and the banks together with Interswitch to limit the possibility of fraudulent transactions being carried out on your card and to promote a fraud-free web payment ecosystem.

I just got back from an ATM where I have made an attempt to register for safetoken.
I have got all the way to paying the due 1 naira.

But now I am trying to make a payment via quickteller.com and I am not getting the expected prompt to add OTP.

Is it supposed to be this hard?
